So Long Paci!

Rose and I left her very last paci in my classroom. I refused to buy her any others. I told her she forgot it in mommy's classroom and we would get it later…we never did :) It was actually super easy to get rid of it, much easier than I thought!

My Little Helper

Several times this summer Rose came with me to help set up my classroom. She always had a blast playing with my many indoor recess games and just stuff I have acquired, really leaving the room quite messy with things everywhere! I considered it a success though because I got many things done and hung up in the room while she was keeping busy playing. Each time we left she would say I had so much fun at mommy's school :)

Saying Good-bye to Our First Home

Oh what a bittersweet day! We really have not had a great experience thus far at buying or selling, which helps a bit to not get too emotional. As I scroll down and look at our home at Darlene Ct. though I do start to get oh so sad. I really loved our house! I loved the coziness of it, and although there were things I didn't love about it, it was the PERFECT starter home for us. Its where we began our life together just the two of us (well three counting Ronny) and then the place where we brought our sweet girl home. It still has not sunk in that I will never pull up to our driveway and walk through the door again :( I post these pictures so we can always remember this home, our first home. Although my home is wherever Kevin and Rose are we loved this place and will always remember it and the memories we made here. I hope the new buyer loves it as much as we did <3

Moving Fun

Other than getting to make a huge pillow pool I am not so sure we would call moving fun. Our closing was pushed back from June 22nd to June 31st to August 6th. This made us stagger the move rather then getting it ALL over with in one to two days. Thank you to Mr. Herrity, Pam, and my dad for your help, and those who watched Miss Rose. A HUGE HUGE thank you to Kevin! He was amazing and worked nonstop for the last month it seemed. It was difficult because we had tons we trashed, stuff went to storage, my moms, and the Herritys. Many trips to many places. Its amazing the amount of stuff you accumulate and what we did in 5 years. The Herrity's basement is now filled with our stuff, but we are working on getting settled here and enjoying being surrounded by family. We cannot thank them enough for letting us invade their home while we continue to search for our next one. We are so far 0-4 in the offers we have offered, but are optimistic that those just were not the one for us. We will find it :) 

Inside Out/ First Movie!

Thanks to youtube Rose was instantly obsessed with Inside Out. She even got into my makeup and painted her face anger- if you look she was pretty right on with the eyebrows. Grandma and Poppy took us to the movie, Rose's first movie :) She did great! She didn't want to keep the glasses on but watched it, walked in the aisle a bit, and ate LOTS of popcorn. She did not run wild which I was a little afraid she would do. She now wants to be one of the characters for Halloween, Anger of source, he is her favorite :) Thank you grandma and poppy we loved the movie!

Lobster Boil and a little Randomness

This was the 2nd year we had a lobster boil at the beach. I love when the WHOLE family gets together. It is so fun catching up with Kevin's aunts, uncles, cousins, and their kids. Rose loved playing with all the kids. We had a wonderful time playing piggie and tenzies.
