Winterfest and Zoo lights

A few weekends ago we went to Chicago for Winterfest at Navy Pier and Zoo Lights. Rose loved all of the activities at Navy Pier and the lights at the zoo. We can't wait to go again next year and make this a family tradition :) A big thank you to Sara for organizing such a great day!

Breakfast with Santa

We took Rose to breakfast with Santa at Knollwood. She was so excited to see Santa and to sit on his lap. While we were trying to eat she kept going and looking at Santa and Mrs. Claus. When it was her turn to sit on his lap she did not smile or talk, but did not cry. She was oh so serious. Even though she didn't tell Santa what she wanted she expressed to mommy and daddy that she wanted Dora, Paw Patrol, and Peppa Pig things.

Rose's First Build-A-Bear

Over Thanksgiving break Aunt Tracie and Laney took Rose to get her first Build-A-Bear. Rose of course picked out the Minnie Bear :) She was a bit overwhelmed by everything in the store and was running around so Miss Laney picked out the perfect outfit for Rose's bear. It was so cute to see Laney help Rose. It was also so neat and cute to watch Rose listen to and follow directions as her bear was being made. She pushed on the pedal for the stuffing, put the heart up to her mouth, ear, nose, and head, and gave it a bath. Thank you Aunt Tracie and Laney! We love you!
