Rose and Luke's Baptism

This Sunday Rose and Luke were baptized! It was a very special day and I was so glad we were able to get them baptized together. Rose is so blessed to have such wonderful godparents! Tracie and Scotch  are such wonderful people who we love so much. 

I want to thank my dad and Pam for hosting a wonderful after party. It was a wonderful day and it was so nice to share it with all of our family.

Rose and Laney shared the same baptism gown. Tracie's friend made it out of parts of her wedding dress. I was so excited when it fit Miss Rose and she was able to wear it as well.

Family

I absolutely have the best family! This past weekend we all got together to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday and my grandma's 75th birthday. We had family pictures taken and a party at my aunt Karen's house. We had so much fun! I wish everyone lived a little closer, and could get together more often, but I cherish all the times we are all able to come together. Some traveled from Utah, Arizona, South Carolina, and D.C. I was so excited Rose was able to meet and spend time with everyone in my family.   As all of the cousins are older and grown up some beer pong was even played. It seems like just yesterday we were running around as kids playing in the basement and now some of us have kids and the games being played are drinking and beer pong.

I want to thank my aunts for putting together such a wonderful party! We love you guys!

And a Happy Birthday to my mom and grandma! We love you guys too!

Rose from May 4th to June 4th you...

Have become quite active! You are scooting and moving all around and will be crawling any day now

You pull yourself up onto things and will sit on your knees and try to stand up

Scoot over to us and pull yourself up onto us

Whine when I walk away from you

Have the cutest little laugh and and voice

Have mastered downward facing dog 

Weigh 21 pounds

Say dada

Can put your paci back in your mouth :)

HATE getting changed and dressed as well as going in your car seat!

Give kisses even to your stuffed animals

Wave hi and bye-bye

Love to mimic us either yelling or blowing raspberries 

Are wearing 9 month and 12 month clothes!

Are still eating 6 ounces every 5 or so hours

Are  loving your cereal and baby food-you are eating cereal for breakfast and your baby food for lunch and dinner

Started sleeping in your crib!! YAY! It was tough on both of us :)

Still get up at least once a night

Love going on walks

Still love watching Barney, Mickey Mouse, and anything on Disney Jr. 

Swing your arm while I'm feeding you or you are trying to go to sleep...you have also started kicking your leg like your daddy

EVERYTHING goes into your mouth!

Get so excited to see mommy and daddy in the morning or after work. You smile right away and swing your arms with excitement.

When you are sleepy you will cuddle right up to me and fall asleep

Had your first kindermusik class! You love music and dancing :)

Love just laying around and talking in the morning right when you get up. You will cuddle up to us and smile and talk away. I love our mornings! 

Your 7 month sticker pictures were quite difficult to take..you did not stop moving!!

I can't imagine how life was without our precious little girl. I really don't remember what daddy and I did before you were born. You have brought so much joy into our house and lives and we are so blessed. I am so in love with our little family. We are having so much fun watching you play, making you laugh and smile, and just spending every moment with you. It has been so neat watching you grow and watching your little personality unfold. You are so sweet and happy all of the time! I can also see a little stubbornness in you when you don't get something you want. But you are so perfect and we are so lucky!

Miss Clingy

Rose has become quite attached to her mommy! When I walk away from her she turns around and begins yelling at me...here she is :)

They Finally Meet!

Last Friday Mrs. Herrity brought Rose to mass and then to St. Vincent so she could finally meet my students. They just loved her! I am done with school and missing these 24 kiddos, but am so excited to spend the summer with my girl :)
