Play Date, New Toy, & Basement

Wow what a weekend! We decided to finish our basement to give our little Rose a playroom, and the project began this weekend. Kevin got a dumpster and we spent most of Sunday throwing tons of stuff away while Rose hung out with her grandma and poppi. It is so neat watching the progression of the basement. They have the walls built for our storage area and laundry room and most of the lighting complete. I can't believe what an open big area we will have left! We will have enough room for a playroom, family room area, bar area, and even a desk. Finishing our basement is making Kevin quite happy! He has wanted to do this for 3 years now.

On Saturday night we went to our friends house. They  have a baby girl, Ella, who is two months. The girls did their own things but we did get a few pictures of them next to each other. I can't wait to get them together again especially as they get older and can play together.

Rose loves to sit up so we decided to get her a bumbo seat. She loves it! She sat and played in it as I washed her bottles, sorted through books, and graded papers. Rose and I are both loving this new toy.

My Little Leprechaun

Rose is such a happy girl! The whole time I was taking pictures she was smiling, laughing, and grabbing her toes. The best part of my day is always being with her (and Kevin too :) I just can't get over how amazing it is being a mom! I'm definitely loving every minute of it!

Meeting the Huberts

Last Sunday Rose and I went to the Hubert's house. It was so fun watching the kids with Rose. Anna just adored her. Sam and Will were very into their video games, but did pause for a picture or two with her. Rose loved watching them play. It feels like just yesterday I was babysitting them and now I have a baby of my own! Time just flies! I just love Lynn and Dan and their sweet kids! I'm so thankful we get to see and talk to them at St. Pius.

Rose's New Trick

The other day while taking pictures of Rose she put her foot in her mouth! She is grabbing and putting EVERYTHING in her mouth these days! She especially loves paper and my hair. Before taking her foot out of her mouth I had to take a few pictures :)

Loving her Saucer

Rose loves the saucer! I picked this up from Beth last week and she has had so much fun in it! She does get a little whiny and scared if she cannot see Kevin or me. She loves the teething rings attached and just noticed the toys hanging above as well. She was grabbing and swatting at those this morning. It is just so fun watching her discover new things! We could not be more in love :)

Getting Ready for St. Patrick's Day

I just got in this St. Patrick's Day headband so of course we needed to take some pictures with it! Rose had fun looking at the snow coming down as well as playing with her toes. I even got a few smiles from her.

Are so loved by mommy's students, they love looking at your pictures/videos and can't wait to meet you

Are so happy in the morning, this is my favorite time with you

Are feisty, you fight taking naps and going to sleep

Are starting to laugh more, I can't wait to hear a real belly laugh from you

It has been a very fun month! We are so in love with our Rosie Girl and can't wait to see what she learns next month :)
