Birthday Parties

Yesterday we had Maddi and Busha's birthdays parties. Rose had a blast at both parties! She loved spending time with her family and swimming in the pool. With her dress on, she just walked right into my dad's pool and was even jumping in by the end (holding my hands). Of course now that summer is just about over she finally likes the water! We had a great day and wish Maddi and Busha a wonderful birthday!

My Classroom

I really love my classroom this year! It is full of chevrons, polkadots, and bright colors :) My goal was to make it a happy place for my students!  I am loving Jimtown and the amazing school community already. I have a great class and am so excited to spend each day with them! I know it is going to be a great year! Here is my room :)

Last Day of Summer :(

Rose and I went to the park and ice cream on our last day of summer vacation. It was one fun, but sad day! I loved every minute of this summer and had so much fun with Rose. I will miss our daily trips to the park and pool and many play dates. I love teaching, but do wish I could stay home with this sweet girl! She has such a fun personality and I loved watching her change and learn so many new things the past few months. 

Her latest…hold you a minute, sit by me, sorry, daddy's car (because he has Elmo music) one more time, she knows letters, shapes, and numbers (she doesn't know a c is a c, but if I ask her what letter she will name one it just may not be the right one. The same goes for numbers and shapes)

Miss Sassy!

Last Monday out of no where sassy found my sweet Rose. Instead of her sweet no, no, no it was a stern loud NO! She threw herself on the floor a couple of times kicking and screaming and didn't want to do anything mommy suggested. I'm pretty sure she was just teething and would sometimes wake up in a bad mood from a nap. This week has been much better, she has been her sweet normal self :)
