My Sweet Girl

I have loved every minute of my summer so far with my sweet Rose. I have not gotten my camera out since we got back from Delaware :( We have been busy painting, coloring, playing, having dance parties, going to the library, pool, park, fair, zoo, my classroom, lots of cuddling, and going on play dates. We stay quite busy and have been having so much fun together.

Rose is one busy busy girl! That is the word I always hear from people when they see her in action. A talking busy machine. I love her energy and happiness. It doesn't matter what we are doing she is always smily and oh so sweet. Still no real tantrums! And she is even learning to say please!

Her new sayings are: sorry mommy, kiss it make it better, no no no, wake up mommy, close your eyes mommy, shopping with mommy, toys see it, mommy do it now yes, don't like it, look candy! come on mommy!…I know there are many more, but thats all I can remember for now. These next two weeks need to SLOW down, I can't express how much I love staying home with this sweet girl. I have so much LOVE for her and am so lucky to be her mommy :)

Family Love

We LOVE our family! We are so blessed to be able to spend a week together every summer. This is one of our favorite weeks of the year. We love being able to catch up and spend time with Kevin's aunts, uncles, and cousins as well. We all had a great time and can't wait to go back next year!
Family Photo :)

Shooting water balloons, Rose had to get in on the fun!

Rose was not interested in talking pictures, so here is one of the two of us:)

Look how windy it was!

Beach Days

Rose LOVED the beach! She loved the sand, playing with her cousins, making sandcastles, and knocking them down. She was not a fan of the water, but by the last two days warmed up to it a bit. She kept saying WATER COMIN and would run away as fast as she could. It was so fun watching and playing with her. She was always so happy and had a blast! Already counting down the days until next year :)

Picture overload below! I want them all in our family yearbook so beware there are a ton!

Just hanging out in her beach chair.

hanging out with daddy :)

She loved her baby pool. She loved splashing in it and filling it with sand

Bringing sand to her sand castle

She thought she was so funny trying to eat the sand when mommy said no no!

Maddi kept splashing water on her, and she loved it! She would say more water, more water...

Making her way to the beach

Finally in the water!

Gabbi took my camera for the afternoon so I got to be in a few pictures :) Thanks Gabbi!

Enjoying water balloons and a rice crispy treat

Burying her legs in the sand.

Playing badminton :) Rose would put her racket down, but the birdie on it, then lift it up and say wee

Playing paddle ball with Rose and Maddi :)

Splashing/Kicking

Knocking down sand castles! I would fill it up, dump it out, and Rose would smash it with her hands or stomp it with her foot.
