Girls Day :)

Today I got to spend the day with my two favorite girls. I had a blast! We played at the beach, went to school, were fire fighters climbing on ladders and putting out fires, Santa on his sleigh, performing at a concert, being mommies, tickle monsters, went to jail, gave hair cuts, played hide and seek, made a gingerbread house, and frosted cookies all while listening to Christmas music :) Miss Laney has quite the imagination! Rose, Kevin, and I had so much fun with her. Laney is so good with Rose and such a sweet fun girl. I'm so glad we were able to spend the day together! I love you Miss Laney!

Just wait a minute Aunt Colleen...she needed to sing me and my teddy... :)

After telling Laney Rose was too big to buckle in she thought Micky was just right

This is how Rose helped to build our Gingerbread house

So pretty with Princess sprinkles

Trying  to get a picture of them, but Rose tried to get Laney's cookie

Santa

Today we went to see Santa. The Chocolate Factory had Rudolph, a giant bear and moose, and Santa. Mammam and Cullen joined us :) Rose loved it all except for Santa, but stopped crying for a moment when Cullen and daddy held her hand. She also loved the snow! Its a good thing because we got a ton of it this weekend.

How many is Rose??

I keep trying with the headband, and my girl keeps telling me NO!

Loved the Moose!

Surprisingly Rose liked Rudolph, especially his nose :)

 But NOT Santa...

Oh Christmas Time

This weekend we put up our Christmas tree. Rose helped put a few ornaments on the tree, but has really loved taking them off. I made sure to hang all of the soft unbreakable ones on the bottom.  Rose and I have enjoyed singing and dancing to Christmas music. I remember rocking with her a year ago to the same music (what a difference a year makes). Rose loves her singing Frosty and Santa and all of our decorations. When we got home today the first thing she ran to was Santa yelling and pointing Ho Ho.

Putting the ornaments on the tree

Look at this little attitude that is unfolding. She has started throwing her head back and rolling on the floor crying and kicking when she does not get her way or is way tired. I was just telling Tracie the other day I could never see my sweet girl throw a tantrum or say anything mean to us (after a Laney tantrum story was told). I think I spoke too soon...
daddy would not let her in...

marching away oh so sad :(
