Waving and Going Bye Bye

Rose started doing a couple new things the past week or so. She has been waving for awhile now, but has started waving and saying hi or bye bye ALL the time. She does it smiling like crazy when we leave the room, enter a room, when Barney is almost over (she knows the exact part it is going to end), and to everyone she sees at the store or church. She also LOVES going bye-bye. In the morning or whenever I tell we are going she gets so excited and wants to go right then and there. She runs to the front door and whines until we are actually ready to go. Tonight we were getting ready for church, and after I put her shoes on she thought we were ready to leave. We still had 20 minutes until we were leaving and that really upset Miss Rose. She has also started say ut-oh. I love everything about this little girl and am enjoying every minute with her.

SNOW

As soon as Rose woke up she noticed the snow that covered our lawn. She starred at it all day. Finally before church tonight I let her walk around in it. She LOVED it! I took her out and then brought her back inside and she whined and hit the door wanting to go back out. When I brought her back she was so excited swinging her arms up and down and smiling like crazy. I can't wait to see her actually play in it.

Rose got SO many toys for her birthday and has had so much fun playing with all of them. The other weekend she spent forever playing with her farm. She loves all of the little animals and the noises the farm makes. I love watching her play and explore with her toys.

Best Friends

Kevin and Lucas have been best friends since they were little and now they both have babies. I'm sure Rose and Cooper will also be best buds. It will be so much fun watching them grow up together. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends!

Rose is 1!

My cousin Stephanie took Rose's one year pictures. I am so in LOVE with them! I especially love the rocking chair pictures. That is one of Rose's favorite things to do at home, get in and off and rock on her chair. Thank you so much to Stephanie for taking these beautiful pictures!

Weekend with Daddy

Last weekend I had my Christ Renews His Parish retreat. I was on the team and have been having meetings to prepare this weekend since March. It was an amazing weekend and formation process. I am so thankful to Kevin and my mom for helping watch Rose so I could attend the meetings and this weekend. Kevin kept me updated with pictures from his daddy daughter weekend.

Rose had so much watching daddy blow our MANY leaves. She starred out the window yelling at him for about an hour. When daddy got close though she started backing up, she was not so sure about the leaf blower!
