We Love Weekends!

I absolutely love weekends! I'm struggling with my class this year so I am always counting down my week days until my weekend. This weekend we went tailgating, had an early birthday celebration with great grandma, and hung out as a family. Rose started roaring like a lion this weekend and also says no, no, no as she points to Ronny. She also does no, no, no and points back to me when I tell her no. She is so much fun and has Kevin and me laughing and smiling all day long. We love running after this sweet and funny girl!

Too much cuteness, I love this ND outfit!!

Love her brushes!

Early Birthday with Great Grandma- Rose loved her cupcakes and gifts! Thank you so much! We have loved spending time with you guys this summer and can't wait until Christmas. We love you!

Loves her new table!

Silly Faces

Rose loves her books! They are still her favorite thing to play with. She loves bringing them to us and will actually sit and listen as we read them. Thank you Uncle Eric and Aunt Amber Rose loves her princess Bible!

Had to include this one. I was telling my teacher friends how my second graders kept putting their papers over their face and trying to balance it on their head while I'm teaching away. It is super cute when my own kiddo does it though.

Trying to put her headband back on :)
Loves her animals! Thank you Aunt Kathleen

When we ask where is your lion or zebra she holds it out so we can see it.

Catching Up

Life is so crazy and busy and also oh so wonderful. Working and being a mom of an active little baby is a lot harder than I thought it would be. At times I feel I am treading water at school and trying to keep our house clean. But at the end of the day picking up my Rose and spending the rest of my day playing and spending time with her and Kevin are really all that matter. Papers might be graded and returned later than before, and there might be dirty dishes in the sink and laundry to do, and I may not do as many fun cute activities (that take forever to prepare for), but I am treasuring every minute at home when I am at home with Miss Rose.

Rose is officially a walker. The other night I asked Kevin when we would say Rose is actually walking and he responded with when she is walking more than crawling. Well that time is now. Its crazy how just one day she will begin to do something. And I'm not sure the day exactly (in the last week or so) Rose decided she was a walker. She will still fall down, but gets right back up. She no longer needs to hold on to something to pull up, but will stand from her bear crawl stance.

Its crazy how much she picks up. I'm used to this baby that cries, eats, and sleeps and thats it, but she is this little person who interacts and learns/does new things daily. A few things she does that crack me up:
Brushes her hair when you ask her to
Walks to her high chair and whines when she wants to eat
Points at her sippy and whines for it when she wants a drink
Uses the IPAD like me! She will use her finger and move it down
I was feeding Rose and we were listening to music when happy and you know it came on she began clapping
Gives kisses to her animals or baby when you ask her to
Waves and says bye bye
Goes and gets her books and baby when you ask her to
When you even say the would bottle she freaks out and wants it NOW-we are already having to spell words out loud
Roars/Yells when you ask her what a lion says
Literally chases Ronny around the house

Heres our last week in pictures :)

I can't believe Rose was ever little enough to use this thing! We got it out to give to Lucas and Rachel and thought we would put Rose in it, she slept in it until she was about 4 or so months!

Another cute ND outfit!
