Easter Weekend

What a weekend! Kevin, Rose, and I had plans with family Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are all extremely tired and worn out! Saturday night we went to Between the Buns in South Bend with the Herritys. Today we went to mass, brunch, to my grandmas, and then to my mom's. Rose is such an awesome baby! She smiles and talks to everyone she is around, and does not mind who is holding her. We are truly so blessed! It was very fun celebrating Easter for the first time as a family of three and starting our own traditions.

Rose slept trough the night for the first time! She went to bed at 9:00 and woke up at 7:00. She did whine once, but after giving her the paci she went right back to sleep. Although we don't sleep through the night, checking on her several times, we are so glad our sweet girl finally is!

Happy Birthday Emily and Poppi!

Tonight we went to Dave and Beth's to celebrate Emily and Poppi's birthday. It was so fun spending time with everyone. I can't believe Emily is already six! Here are pictures from tonight:

Tonight we went to my dad's and got to hang out with Coley. He hasn't seen Rose since Christmas and she just loved him! She smiled and laughed at him all night long. She was in the best mood tonight talking and playing with everyone :)

Finally!!

We finally had nice weather today so Rose got to go on her first walk! She fell asleep minutes into it and stayed bundled up and slept the whole time. I am hoping this weather continues so we can make it a daily thing.

Rose Rolled Over!

Rose finally rolled over (3/25/13)! She rolled from her tummy to her back one time. She is so close to rolling from her back to her stomach and keeps trying and trying. I know it will be any day now. She is really moving and grooving these days. She loves to play, grab her toys, and put them in her mouth. We constantly switch from her bouncy seat, bumbo, saucer, and jungle. When she is really cranky Barney always does the trick! She only likes when they sing though and whines and cries when they aren't. I took some pictures right after she rolled over and unfortunately did not get her in action. Here are also some of her playing.

Tonight we gave Rose cereal for the first time! She didn't know what to think, but did manage to eat a little bit and left most on her face :)
