I have said this every year so far, but I LOVE my class! I have the sweetest group of kids! I was a little nervous at first having 25 of them, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Last week we were working on using commas in dates, cities/states, and letter parts. I gave an assignment to use macaroni for the commas and to write me a letter telling me when they were born and where they live. One of my sweet girls made my day by adding to her letter. Look how sweet she is:

We are so lucky to have such a happy girl! This week Rose had a temperature of 101.5 and was still smiley as ever. We took her to the doctor on Friday and she was in a great mood there as well. She was talking to the nurse and doctor. She was fine until the doctor looked in her infected ear. She screamed and swatted his hand away. Our first ear infection! Rose is not a fan of the medicine, but will take it if she has a bottle in her mouth. I hope this is just due to her teething and not something she will continue to get, like her cousin Laney.

This was taken while we were eating dinner. I was feeding Rose and she would stop, turn her head, and talk to the picture of the three of us. 

An hour before this Rose had a temperature of 101.5 and still so happy! 

 Our future Kingsmen! Lucas and Rachel gave her this Penn onesie. I had to take some pictures before Rose out grew it, she has been growing like a weed and out of all her clothes!

My Pinterest Project

Last weekend I worked on finally finishing Rose's room. I needed one more thing to hang up and I wanted to be able to switch and display the pictures I am constantly taking of her, so I decided on a bulletin board. After looking on pinterest I found one I loved and decided to try and copy it. Here is what I came up with:

We LOVE long Weekends!

I have been spoiled lately with long weekends and snow days. I love spending all day with my sweet Rose. I can't wait until summer! I just had a 4 day weekend and we had so much fun together! We visited with great grandma, grandpa, busha, aunt Shelby, cousins Emily and Zach, and played and played. We had so much fun visiting with Beth, Dave, Emily, and Zach. Emily is so good with Rose! She did such a great job holding her and even read her a book. I can't wait until Rose is running around playing with them.

 We are having so much fun watching her grow and notice the new things she does almost daily. Rose loves grabbing her feet, looking in the mirror, grabbing and putting everything in her mouth to include my hair, and still loves her jungle. She also has noticed and enjoys hearing her voice, but really a high pitch yell, and is quite the whiner. We think its all so adorable and are loving every minute with our Rosie Girl!

Pandora Fun

Rose and my favorite thing to do is listen and sing to Pandora set at Shania Twain. All the songs are so old, but my favorites! We listen and sing in the morning while I'm getting ready, cooking dinner, and taking pictures. Today we were laying around in bed listening to music as I snapped picture after picture. I can't wait until she can actually sing and dance along.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! It has been a wonderful day with my cute second graders, wonderful husband, and sweet daughter. Kevin brought me lunch, coffee, flowers, and cookies for my kiddos. My students were so sweet, they made sure they had valentines for Mr. Herrity and Rose :) Tonight I made Kevin's favorite dinner and dessert. Rose had fun playing and of course taking pictures! A wonderful day! Now on to a 4 day weekend!

Ash Wednesday

Kevin surprised me and came to my mass at school. All my kids were very excited to see Mr. Herrity as well.

Mammam and Pappap took Rose to St. Pius and look she got ashes too.

Etsy Love

Everyday it seems Kevin is walking through the door with another etsy package. I'm not sure how much longer he will allow this...but so far I have ordered Rose tons of headbands, a headband holder, winter hat, bloomers, and an ABC painting for her room (I haven't received this yet). I am completely obsessed with headbands! Rose looks so darn cute in them though that I can't resist ordering them! Here are some pictures of my purchases, as well as little photo shoots we have had with our new props.
